Kyoka

What Google will show you

Google will say "Google hasn't verified this app" and make you tap Advanced, then Go to Kyoka.

That warning is accurate. It means this app hasn't been through Google's review process — not that anything is wrong with it. It's a small independent app, and review is a long and expensive process. If that gives you pause, that instinct is the right one to have; it's the same instinct Kyoka exists to back up. Don't continue unless you know who is running this.

You'll then be asked to let Kyoka read your email. That is all it asks for to begin with — it can look at your mail and tell you what it finds, and it cannot move, label or delete anything.

If you later decide you want Kyoka to hold suspicious mail out of your inbox, Google will ask you separately for that. You never have to say yes.
